Portland Raiders Join NAFL NWAfter meeting with NAFL NW teams on March 8th, the Portland Raidersjoined the North American Football League's Northwest Region. The decisionto join the NAFL came after a unanimous vote ofapprovalfrom representatives of the nine teams in the region. The vote to accept the Portland Raiders was made after the 2009NAFL schedule wasset, and the acceptance cost the region adelayas theyrecreate theschedule to include the Portland Raiders.
